We have a SharePoint 2013 farm where I have 3 servers in it - RM01, WEB01, APP01. We deployed the timer job which is part of one of our applications. Once we enabled the timer job to run every 15 minutes- we are seeing the Timer Job instances at both RM01 and WEB01 for the same scheduled time.
When the schedule reaches, one of the instances (RM01) starts first and immediately followed by the other instance (WEB01). Since we have a listitem update related code in this timerjob - the parallel runs causing some issues.
Whats the best way to fix this?
