We are developing a corporate intranet in SharePoint 2013 Foundation Server. The configuration is:-
- SharePoint 2013 Foundation Server with SandBox Solutions
- Visual Webparts Developed for content publishing
SharePoint 2013 foundation is installed on VM and having 8 GB of RAM with 1 Core of Processor. The sitepages with Visual Web Parts are hosted in it. The data is fetched from the List and displaying it using the web server controls. The List is having 4-5 items
in it. The Home page is having 12 vwp on it and it takes lot of time to load the entire page around 3-4 minutes.
One of the architect in my company advise to change the sandbox solution to Farm solutions, does this change can improve the overall performance of the site.
